Hello! I am 32 years old and a mother of two beautiful children both under 3. I have been doing makeup for over 10 years now. I started doing makeup while attending fashion school for all the models in my fashion show. At the time I had little to no experience in the beauty industry and was more focused on the fashion aspect of the show, little did I know I was pretty good at it and received many requests for future makeup services. It was a natural God given talent.
I wanted more training in makeup without having to go to school so I applied for a company called MAC Cosmetics and have been with them for over 7 years. Being employed with this company has opened up so many doors for me in the beauty world and I received all the training I needed to hone my skills.
My popularity grew through word of mouth and customer referrals. I was able to leave the retail world and pursue my own freelance business while making my own schedule and spending more time with my family. I also started my own cosmetic line called FAME Cosmetics which gives back to the community while partnering up with non profits such as "Dress for Success" and other local charities. The biggest reward about my company so far is just to meet great women and building long term friendships.
