I specialize in glamour and beauty makeup and offer airbrush or traditional applications. I work with many women of all ages, skin type, color, or textures. All the products I use are the best in the business and I can bring my own light and chair upon request.

Hello! My name is Mary Riley and I am the proud owner of FAME Cosmetics and Detroit Glam Squad. I have been in the beauty industry for over 15 years and have touched over 4,000 faces of makeup in my career lifetime.
I started doing hair and makeup while attending fashion school for all the models in my fashion show. At the time I had little to no experience in the beauty industry and was more focused on the fashion aspect of the show, little did I know I was pretty good at it and received many requests for future makeup services. It was a natural God given talent.
In 2009, I started working in cosmetic retail and was trained under some of the best and notable makeup companies out there. Working in the public marketplace has opened up so many doors for me in the beauty world. I learn to work with real, everyday women, diverse skin tone and type and most importantly, I built longterm relationships and a business backbone. I received all the training I needed to hone my skills.
My popularity grew through word of mouth and customer referrals. I was able to leave the retail world and pursue my own freelance business after giving birth to my first child. I have been going strong independently for over 10 years and my business keeps growing and expanding. I am now teaching and hosting makeup workshops and educating women on how to properly apply their makeup on a day to day basis. I love the flexibility of working for myself, as I've learned when you love what you do it never feels like work.
In 2011, I also started my own cosmetic line called FAME Cosmetics which gives back to the community while partnering up with non profits such as "Dress for Success" and other local charities. The biggest reward about my company so far is just to meet great women and building long term friendships.
