Makena's Solo or Collaborative Organ Music

If you book me as a keyboardist: you can expect a versatile repertoire list including anything from baroque to modern pop. I tailor every set list to each unique client and perform original arrangements and original compositions too upon request. My keyboard has a ton of cool sound settings, and if I bring it, I will use the different sounds with each setting carefully chosen to fit the mood of each piece.

If you book me as a bubble artist: I am very whimsical and good with both kids and adults. I bring my own setup and instruct the kids in safe bubble play. I make sure to set up on grass to reduce the chances of injury, and my bubbles are fun to watch and fun to play. I have a special whimsical wardrobe for my bubble shows too, which adds to the fun.

I am a professional organist, pianist, and bubble artist. I received my master’s degree recently at the University of southern California in organ performance and am looking for organ performance opportunities as well as performance opportunities beyond the organ world. I own a versatile keyboard that plays anything from piano and square wave sounds to string harp and vibraphone. In addition, I just started giant bubble blowing this year and really enjoy it. I can make lots of bubbles for kids to pop and play in, and I can also make visual wonder bubbles that adults love to watch.

I have minimal technical requirements. My keyboard has built in speakers. If you have an external speaker, that’s a bonus but it isn’t a necessity.
As for my bubbles, I will bring all my equipment and just preferably need a grassy area or soft surface to blow the bubbles so kids can safely pop and play without the risk of falling onto concrete, which is painful and not fun.
