Dr. Tim Newman was the Keynote Speaker at the Annual Experiential Learning Leadership Institute (ELLI) in April 2025. This conference draws educators from across the Mid-South region, 150-200 attendees, all focused on experiential education. Dr. Newman's address on connecting with others for mutual benefit was received with much acclaim. Numerous attendees specifically sought out Tim at the end of the event to ask for permission to use the material he presented in their own teaching setting. It truly was one of the best keynote's we have had at ELLI over the past 5 years and we were privileged to have Dr. Newman share his ideas with us.

Tim’s background combines a Doctorate in Education, decades of public speaking, and coaching experience from the classroom to the C-suite. He’s worked with emerging leaders, college students, podcasters, and professionals across industries who are tired of playing small when it comes to communication.
He’s also hosted over 100 episodes of the Speaking with Confidence podcast and leads the Golfweek Amateur Tour – The Podcast, blending storytelling, insight, and the occasional sarcastic jab.
Tim is a veteran of the U.S. Army and served with the 82nd Airborne Division.
