We had the pleasure of hosting Makai for our recent tropical-themed client appreciation event, and they absolutely exceeded our expectations. From the moment guests arrived, the live drum and lei greeting set an authentic, high-energy tone that immediately drew everyone in.

Throughout the evening, Makai delivered beautiful, unforgettable performances—including breathtaking fire dancing that left the entire audience in awe. What really stood out, beyond the talent and choreography, was their warm and engaging personalities. They interacted with guests seamlessly, encouraging audience participation in a way that felt fun, classy, and completely natural. Our guests were still talking about the show long after the event ended.

Makai Show truly exceeded all expectations! They made the trip up to Prescott to perform at our Senior Living community’s Summer Luau, and I can confidently say they were the highlight of our event.

But the real magic happened during the performance. Our residents, most of whom are over 80, were completely captivated. It’s rare to see so many of them so engaged, smiling, and even dancing! I’ve never seen our residents have so much fun—they were laughing, moving, and genuinely enjoying themselves throughout the entire show. It was a beautiful sight to see, and it truly made the event special.

I had the pleasure of having the Makai Show perform at my daughters birthday. It was a captivating performance featuring both hula and haka, and I must say, it was an unforgettable experience. The dancers exhibited incredible skill, precision, and passion throughout the entire show. Not to mention funny and entertaining.
The Hawaii hula, Tahiti hula and Samoa dance performance was graceful, with the dancer effortlessly conveying stories through the movements.
The New Zealand Haka performance was nothing short of powerful. The energy emanating from the dancer was palpable, as he stomped, chanted, and performed with intense fervor. It was a raw display of strength and cultural pride that left a lasting impression on everyone in the audience.
My personal favorite was the fire dance, What truly set this performance apart was the seamless blend of elegance and excitement. While the dancer exuded poise and precision, there was an undeniable sense of danger and excitement in the air as he skillfully manipulated the fire with daring flair.
I highly recommend experiencing this mesmerizing performance firsthand—it's a true feast for the senses.

We had the Makai Show perform at my wife's birthday party, and could not have been more pleased with how the event turned out! Soa was a pleasure to work with from the initial quote where he provided different options, to communication about timing and equipment setup, to the actual performance with the talented dancers! It was fun and interactive for all the guests, they got to see (and try) several different dance styles throughout. The fire dance finale was amazing!
