Joel’s interest in magic began when he was five years old, thanks to his father. Both enjoyed watching TV magic specials. At age 15, Joel had his first performance in school, starting a long career performing for birthday parties, TV shows, weddings, and corporate events.
In 2005, he became the resident magician for the Puerto Rico Children’s Museum where he performed weekly for seven years for audiences from all over the world.
From 2010 to 2013, he served as President of the Society of American Magicians and the Puerto Rican Society of Illusionists.
Joel also produced multiple magic shows for himself and other magicians in Puerto Rico. Among the titles are: Live the Magic of the Museum, Dare to Believe at the Museum, Reynols Alexander’s Illusions Show at the Conquistador Hotel, Karlo López Metalism Show at the Caribe Hilton Hotel, Hansel Kreutzberger’s Por Arte de Magia, #Magia Close-up Gala and more.
In 2023, was part of the cast of San Juan Es Magia, the first International Magic Festival in San Juan, PR, performing alonside international magic personalities such as Dirk Losander, Artem Shchukin, Tina Lennart, Mike Caveney, Hansel Kreutzberger, Reynold Alexander, and Christopher Hart.
Joel currently lives in Reading, PA, and performs in Berks and neighboring counties.
