Every Magician has their own take on things, a style, a schtick a character even. James' recurring theme is one of inclusion and empowerment. He means to flip the script and make the spectator the source of the magic, himself merely the empowering conduit once missing and here to make YOU shine. "I'm just the medium. A motivator and conduit focused on dusting off my spectators inner sparkle." You won't get -Chris Angel- vibes from me. The "look what I can do, catch me if you can" style of magic isn't inclusive and uplifting. I find that separates the audience from the performer.. uplifting one and downgrading the other. I've turned that style on it's head and instead lift the room up. It's said people often won't remember what you said and did, but they'll always remember how you made them feel. *That's the real MAGIC*

" I draw inspiration from a few dozen magicians who've blazed trails long before my shift to magic occurred. I'm lucky enough to have taken up this marvelous craft during it's most accessible time, where zoom magic meetings with the world's best are at our fingertips - if you've been invited. Post Covid-19 lockdowns I began reevaluating my direction, motivations and styles as a performer, and realized my style was far too showman as a circus and sideshow performer to directly apply to magic, which requires more nuanced, interactive and rapport established to congeal performances. This made me think of how much connection and value in social cohesion, inclusion and community has already slipped through our fingers in the "social media" era, which was only exacerbated by covid19. I believe the entire world took a big step backwards in human connection, motivation and inclusion during those rough few years. As a byproduct of what my personal struggles were from that came a desire to draw out, foster and channel the essence of everyone's magic whom I have the privilege to interact with, hopefully leaving a better and inspiring world behind after each performance. This has sculpted my style into one focused not only on the big moments happening in spectators hands, but the prerogative to convince them it was their sparkle that made it all possible. I'm just the medium. A motivator and conduit focused on dusting off their inner sparkle." and from that was born "Magic with a Message".

Technical needs vary by service and planned effects.
Walk-around / close up magic is adaptable with no technical needs.
Formal shows: As a general principal a 12x8' space is needed for most stage performance and guests seated. Sound equipment for less than 100 guests and wireless mic included in bookings. Larger venues and crowds will incur the clients need to provide sound and staging.
