I've worked in the performing arts for my entire career, and the level of professionalism, stage presence, and skill that Matthew brought to our event is second to none. His table-side mentalism was intimate and made meaningful connections with our audience. His demeanor puts people at ease and his charm builds trust with an audience quickly. After his table-side work, he performed an hour-long set for our full audience. When I say Matthew shines in both small and large settings, I can't overstate his skill. He's comfortable commanding a room and makes full audiences feel at ease. He's one of those professionals who makes you feel taken care of; You never doubt that he's in control and that you're in for a treat. His ability to get people involved in his act is where I think his performance really shines. Even if you aren't someone who normally participates in performances, Matthew draws you in and makes you feel excited to participate. It's this participation that leads to the crowd buying into the show and feeling connected to this incredible mentalism. Lastly, I've seen a fair number of illusionists, and I couldn't tell you how Matthew pulls off most of his show. We booked Mr. Matthew for our kids joint bday party (3f, 5m, 7m) in May 2026 and it was a magical experience!!!! We booked a 1.5hr show, 30 mins magic, 30 mins bubble show, 30 mins Balloons. The magic show was great and was appropriate for all ages. Mr. Matthew also incorporated the bday kids into some magic tricks and also the giant bubbles!!! The balloon making was great and the kids enjoyed all 90 mins of the entertainment he provided. We would definitely book Mr. Matthew again!!!!
