Magic Moments Face Painting

Melissa offers amazing artwork and entertainment that makes your event sparkle! Available in and out of costume. 2 hour minimum performance time. You can choose between face painting, henna, glitter tattoos, meet and greet, or mix and match these services, if your time and party size allows. Her favorite roles are Ariel and Elsa! She loves to sing and interacts with children fully in-character. You can expect strong communication and thoughtful planning. Melissa sets up her own booth, with clean, skin-safe professional grade materials. Mel is experienced working with disabled children and adults, and passionate about including everyone in the fun with warmth and patience.

Melissa Davis is a visual artist with a dual career in childrens entertainment and fine art. Melissa has over 6 years of experience as a face painter and character actress at children's parties. Born and raised in Florida, she moved to New Orleans in the summer of 2025.

Every event is different, so I always give a call to discuss your ideas and ensure things go smoothly. Clients are encouraged to think about lighting for the main activity area to get amazing photos! Let me know if you want me to bring a ring light.

I have my own tent, signage, table, and face painters chair for clients to sit in while I stand to paint. I require enough space at the event to set up a 4 foot or larger folding table to lay supplies on, and for a line to form close by for clients to wait their turn. I love when my clients provide a table for me, and tent (if outdoors) for me, but it is not required, I can bring them if needed! The activity area already being set up for me when I arrive really helps my entrance in character to have that wow factor. Clients are responsible for party decorations.

No specific stage requirements, happy to do a little improvisational singing as long as clients expectations are met. I can bring my Boom speaker and use my princess Playlist if you need some fun tunes!
