Offering fast, beautiful, and highly customizeable face painting! Melissa is a full-time artist with a BFA in painting from Florida State. She has 7 years of experience in children's entertainment and loves to create memories you'll treasure forever! Available for birthdays, corporate events, school carnivals, fundraisers, festivals, and other special occasions♥️ I'm usually based in New Orleans- spending the summer in my Florida hometown and looking for opportunities while I'm here!

We had the pleasure of having Melissa from Magic Moments Face Painting at my daughter’s 5th birthday party, and she was amazing! She arrived dressed as Elsa and stayed in character while creating beautiful face paintings for the children. The kids were absolutely thrilled to have their faces painted by Elsa herself, which made the experience even more magical.
Melissa was warm, patient, and wonderful with the children. Her face painting was beautiful, and every child left with a big smile. She also interacted with the kids, and made my daughter feel incredibly special on her birthday.
From the booking process to the event itself, everything was smooth and professional. Parents and children alike were impressed, and many commented on how special the experience was. We couldn’t have asked for a better addition to the party and would highly recommend Magic Moments Face Painting to anyone looking to make their child’s celebration truly memorable!

Melissa is such a pro. She was organized and had everything she needed to ensure our birthday girl and her friends had a great time. She knew it was a "Mermaid" themed party, so she came in full-character as Ariel. She sang to the kids and did some really beautiful work. Highly recommend!

What to expect
Melissa offers amazing artwork that makes your event sparkle! 2 hour minimum performance time. You can expect strong communication and thoughtful planning. Sets up her own booth, with clean, skin-safe professional grade materials. Please consider location of the face painting booth at your event to help artist and clients stay cool and comfortable.
About
Melissa Davis is a visual artist with a dual career in childrens entertainment and fine art. Melissa has over 6 years of experience as a face painter and character actress at children's parties. Born and raised in Florida, she moved to New Orleans in the summer of 2025. Bringing her services to Florida for summer fun while staying with family!
You can catch Melissa selling her original artwork and prints 4 nights a week at the Art Garden and Art Bazaar in New Orleans September-June.
Additional booking notes
Every event is different, so I always give a call to discuss your ideas and ensure things go smoothly. Clients are encouraged to think about lighting for the main activity area to get amazing photos.
I have my own table and chairs, but if you want to provide them to match your party it's always lovely. I require enough space for a 4 ft or larger table and for people to comfortably form a line. I love when my clients provide a table for me, and tent (if outdoors) but it is not required, I can bring them if needed!
