Add a touch of magic to your event with Magic Matt’s Family Fun Shows. Magical entertainer Matthew Scherer presents programs that will provide your audiences with magical memories they will cherish for years to come. Not just a distant performer up on a stage, he offers a fun and interactive program that features lots of audience participation. Magic Matt lets the audience feel like they are part of the magical experience!

Family Parties and Events
The birthday child is the real star of this show! Throughout this fun filled program, the birthday child gets to participate and help Magic Matt entertain their guests. The Birthday Magic Show features a thirty+ minute magic show followed by balloon sculptures and simple magic treats for each child attending the party. At the conclusion of the program the birthday child receives a special balloon creation. Mr. Scherer creates magical memories that are fun for all ages!

The entire program with magic show and balloons runs 60-90 minutes, for a group of twenty children or less.

Magic Matt’s Family Show (For Festivals and Fairs)
Mr. Scherer offers a small show that makes a big impact as an addition to your event. Option include a small tent (10’x10’), backdrop and sound system, this program offers a magical experience dawning back to the old sideshows. Multiple magic shows with balloon artistry intermixed in between can be scheduled daily. Each show runs 20-30 minutes in length. The only requirement is a grassy area to set up and access to power for sound and lights. Most events bring some hay bales, benches, or bleachers over for seating.

Strolling Magic Shows
Mr. Scherer gathers crowds and delights them with his magical feats. These strolling magic programs bring an audience together. Treats them to some fun filled magical moments and then sends them on their way to enjoy the rest of your event. These shows run 15-20 minutes in length. Multiple shows can be presented throughout the day.

Magic Shows for your stage(s), Gym/auditorium or Commercial Exhibit Buildings
Matthew Scherer’s magic show is easy to transport and set-up. You can plug this show into your entertainment schedule throughout the day at one or multiple locations. These programs are flexible according to your needs, up to 30 minutes in length. Placing these shows in commercial buildings can also steer family traffic to specific areas.

Schools and Libraries
The “I CAN DO IT!” Magic Show
Mr. Scherer shares a positive message with young audiences that will explore how to reach their goals with patience and practice. Mr. Scherer also encourages children to explore reading and use of their local library and other resources to learn more about magic as a hobby and skill. Building self-esteem with a magical message!

Magician Matthew Scherer never put his magic sets away as a child. He always had them handy to perform shows for family and friends.

Mr. Scherer has been entertaining audiences around the Chicago area and mid-west for over thirty-five years. His performances have been featured at festivals including the Brookfield Zoo’s “Holiday Magic Festival” and the Illinois State Fair.

Mr. Scherer strives to keep the magic tradition alive as a performance art that is enjoyed by all ages. He encourages people young and old to learn magic as a hobby and a skill.

As a family program, the ideal situation is when the whole family participates and watches the show.
For show and party venues no special set up is required, just access to an electrical outlet and perhaps a small table. An area (Gym, banquet hall, classroom, family room or back yard weather permitting) where a group, children and adults can gather and enjoy a show without distractions. This makes it a more magical experience for everyone.
