Magic Dmitry

I booked Dmitry as a surprise for my girlfriend’s 30th birthday party. I was apprehensive going in, as my previous experience with hiring magicians was minimal, but Dmitry instantly quelled my trepidation. He combined jaw-dropping sleight of hand with gut-busting humour, and by the end of the night he had transformed a room of cynics into believers in ways humankind has not witnessed since Jesus H. turned water into wine. Dmitry’s performance was recanted deep into the night, and is still being brought up a week later. If you’re on the fence about this booking - let this be a sign to debate no longer. Book him, sit back, and enjoy.

I had Dmitry perform for about 40 guests at my 25th birthday party and he was amazing! Very funny, great crowd work, and the tricks were very impressive! All of my guests loved the performance and I cannot recommend him enough! Thank you so much Dmitry for your performance!

Dmitry was very pleasant to work with, communication before the event was excellent. I had certain requests and he was very accommodating. The children thoroughly enjoyed the performance. I scheduled it for an hour and a half. An hour or an hour and fifteen minutes would have been perfect. He carried through in a smaller space with aplomb and grace. The tricks and routines were perfect for kids of all ages and even the adults were enjoying. Dmitry was really good at catching things on the spot and dealing with spontaneous reactions/comments. All in all, it was money well spent and an evening packed with comic routines, classic solid magic, and interactive conversation.

We hired Dmitry for my partner’s 31st birthday celebration at our tiny Toronto apartment. We had about 20 people and boy did he entertain! Honest to god he was hilarious. The tricks were also fantastic but the real highlight was his comedic timing. Dmitry was great at reading the room and did a good mix of crowdwork and solo stuff.
