April 10, 2026Dmitry was very pleasant to work with, communication before the event was excellent. I had certain requests and he was very accommodating. The children thoroughly enjoyed the performance. I scheduled it for an hour and a half. An hour or an hour and fifteen minutes would have been perfect. He carried through in a smaller space with aplomb and grace. The tricks and routines were perfect for kids of all ages and even the adults were enjoying. Dmitry was really good at catching things on the spot and dealing with spontaneous reactions/comments. All in all, it was money well spent and an evening packed with comic routines, classic solid magic, and interactive conversation.

February 22, 2026We hired Dmitry for my partner’s 31st birthday celebration at our tiny Toronto apartment. We had about 20 people and boy did he entertain! Honest to god he was hilarious. The tricks were also fantastic but the real highlight was his comedic timing. Dmitry was great at reading the room and did a good mix of crowdwork and solo stuff. Dmitry is no stranger to comedy and stage. He started many years ago as a part of a Russian comedy theatre (KVN). When this wasn't enough, he went to study improv and stand-up at The Second City training centre in Toronto. He has been a regular MC for the Regional and National yo-yo competitions (yes, there are yo-yo competitions). And finally, everything came together when he decided to start performing magic. His mix of magic and improv comedy makes the show very unique, funny and entertaining for audiences of all ages. Dmitry is a proud Ravenclaw.
I bring my own equipment, and will only require a chair for participants.
I bring my own audio equipment that is good for audiences of up to 100 people. For larger crowd I will need a wireless microphone, handheld or wearable.
