September 7, 2025Adam exceeded all our expectations for my daughters Bat Mitzvah! He was communicative, asked for a schedule of the event in advance as well as songs my daughter would like. During the event he kept a group of 12-13 year olds entertained and dancing for almost 2 hours!! The kids had the best time and we even caught the venue staff busting some moves- Adam’s energy was so fun and positive and contagious! Highly recommend!

Adam Welton started hosting events when he made history at Northwestern University's Dance Marathon in the fall of 2004. Todd Johnson (NU '08) and Adam Welton were the first freshman couple to host this historic and epic 30 hour charity event, and went on to make history and host the event for the next four years of their college career.
After college, Radio Disney hired Adam as a full time Radio Host and On-Site Talent. He eventually packed up and moved to Los Angeles where he continued working as a host for Radio Disney in Los Angeles. DJ Mad Hatter starting rocking events for major celebrities including Kevin Hart, Andy Garcia, Gabrielle Union and Dwayne Wade. He shortly became prominent in the Bar Mitzvah scene in Los Angeles, solidifying DJ Mad Hatter as an international party sensation.
As an actor, Adam co-starred on Bounce's "In The Cut," he can be seen in the famous "Humble" music video by Kendrick Lamar, and he was featured several times on the Dharr Mann's inspiring YouTube short films with millions of subscribers. He also produced many short films, and a podcast with over 89 episodes on his YouTube Channel.
After living in LA for over ten years, Adam now lives in Chicago, IL where he host Bar Mitzvahs, School Events, Weddings, and other major events on the weekends.
He loves his two daughters Laila and Alani, and most of all his wifey Sammy!
