All events are evaluated individually. Quotes are based on the length of time of the event and the number of musicians requested. Special song requests are welcome, as long as the song is approved in advance. There may be an extra charge if sheet music has to be purchased.
While most events are booked as a soloist, it is encouraged to consider booking a duet, trio, quartet, or other musical ensemble. An ensemble with multiple musicians provides a fuller and more beautiful sound. Quotes can be provided for various ensemble sizes to compare. Bookings for either solo or ensemble are typically accepted up to six months in advance.
Arrival on the day of the event is approximately 30 minutes in advance, to set up and warm up. Since no amplification equipment is typically needed, setup is an easy process and takes 5-10 minutes. Coordinating details in advance (or on the day of) with an event coordinator, family member, DJ, etc. is common and a welcome part of the process.
Reception, business events. And dinner party music is usually comprised of a unique mix of soft classical and modern mix, uniquely curated for the event.
With the permission of a manager, music can be performed at a restaurant.
Background music can be customized for Christmas parties, office parties, fundraisers, etc. All music requests must be approved in advance.
If you aren't sure if violin would work for your event, don't hesitate to ask!
I simply love playing the violin! After starting as a child in 1988, I grew in musical ability and style through private lessons, orchestras, musical theater, church music, formal training, and more. Playing professionally in special events since 1998, it has been a joy to bring the creative joy and beauty of music to others. There are few things that bring me more joy than sharing the gift of music!
The musicians will provide their own sheet music and music stands. An amplification system (speakers) are not included. If chair(s) can be provided at the event venue, that is appreciated.
