I perform original music as Lylajean and can also learn cover songs as desired. I have a large original discography that includes both danceable/hype tunes and lowkey solo music, depending on the show. My eclectic music is inspired by Kate Bush, Björk, Joni Mitchell, Elliott Smith, Fiona Apple, etc. and includes influences of indie/alternative pop, electronic dance, avant-garde/experimental, alternative rock, and folk. Solo performances are easiest to organize given my collaborators' busy schedules; but I also lead a band named Lylajean and Who We Are where I play guitar and lead vocals, and the band also includes drums, electronics, keyboard, guitar, and/or bass guitar.
