What to expect

If you’re in the audience, you’ll experience a dynamic and soulful performance—whether it’s a laid-back acoustic set or a high-energy show with my “one-band band” setup, blending live looping, guitar, vocals, and percussion to create a full, rich sound. I specialize in reading the room and matching the vibe, whether it’s a seated dinner, an upbeat celebration, or anything in between.

If you’re the client, you’re getting a professional who shows up early, dressed appropriately, with a smile and a commitment to making your event seamless. I bring my own high-quality sound system—ideal for events up to 150 guests or around 1000 square feet—and handle everything from soundcheck to background music between sets.

I typically perform solo as a one-band band or with just an acoustic guitar, but I also offer duo/trio options and full band performances for larger events. When a band is requested, I only bring in top-tier, professional musicians. My setlists span soul, R&B, classic rock, reggae, and more—and I’m happy to learn custom songs with at least two weeks’ notice to ensure everything is delivered at the level of quality I’m known for. Having produced my own events for years, I’m also comfortable serving as MC if needed.

At the end of the day, my goal is simple: to elevate your event and leave your guests praising your taste in music.

Influences and inspiration

My music is rooted in soul, classic rock, R&B, and singer-songwriter traditions. I’ve been heavily influenced by artists known for their emotional depth, authenticity, and timeless sound.

Some of my biggest influences include:

Otis Redding – for his raw emotion and vocal power
Ray LaMontagne – for his tone, vulnerability, and storytelling
Bill Withers – for his honesty and soulful simplicity
Donny Hathaway – for his rich musicality and vocal control
James Taylor – for his songwriting craftsmanship and acoustic sensibility
The Beatles – for melody, harmony, and song structure
John Mayer – for blending soul, pop, and blues in a modern way
Ben Harper – for genre-blending and heartfelt delivery
Sam Cooke – for being the blueprint of soul and grace
The Band – for rootsy, communal musicality
These artists have shaped not just the sound I create, but the way I approach performance—with intention, connection, and a respect for the power of a great song.
