Overview
Luke Denison is a multi-instrumentalist with a background in songwriting, playing, performing, and theater. Because of this he is comfortable on all stages and loves to engage with the audience, creating a fun atmosphere for everyone. Combing a background in country music, a love of Motown, and an appreciation for the American songbook (as well as a few Disney, and pop songs mixed in) Luke is sure to please crowds of all ages from corporate events to private parties to kids birthdays!
Luke was an Emmy Nominated host of a PBS kids television show for which he wrote and performed original music. He also practices regular with his toddler and would love to showcase those skills for your party!

We selected Luke to be our Guitarist/Singer for our event and could not be more pleased! It was a Black Tie/Sunday Best Dress code for a 4 course Dinner, he sang soft vocals & Acoustic Rhythms for 2 hours.
He was very easy to work with, was punctual, and had an amazing voice.

We hired Luke to perform at a small, intimate outdoor wedding, and he was amazing. He was easy to deal with, very communicative, reasonably priced and extremely talented. I researched several artists before hiring Luke, and as impressed as I was with his YouTube videos, he was even better in person. He came with a playlist of familiar songs and even entertained requests. If you are looking for live music at your next event, we would highly recommend Luke Dennison...you will not be disappointed.

What to expect
Luke is comfortable onstage in whatever capacity you desire! He excels at interacting with the audience and can provide a full list of covers, take requests, and dazzle with his own original music as well. He trys to make sure everyone is having a good time and loves to play whatever people want to hear.
If solo, you can expect acoustic guitar and vocals (he's a classically trained singer so you have a wide range of genres with a country-meets-musical theater vocalist). But you can also expect to hear him accompany himself with some percussion and other instruments to make sure the show is entertaining and full.
With a full band you can expect a full band experience. Fun, energy, crowd interaction, and more in a professional and laid back style.
About
Luke Denison has spent the last few years between New York, Nashville, and now Winston-Salem North Carolina where he currently lives with his wife and cat. He spends his time writing and performing original music (mostly country thanks to the Nashville roots). Luke has opened for numerous country artists including Ashely Mcbryde, Chase Rice, and Walker Hayes. In 2015 Luke was nominated for an LGL Emmy Award for hosting a PBS affiliated children's TV show for which he wrote and performed 12+ original songs and jingles that are still being used and rerun today. He has a soft spot for taking songs from the 1960s-2010s and fitting them into his singer/songwriter and country style.
