We are a full-size Big Band (16 musicians, plus singer), playing traditional 1940s swing music. Great for dancing, general entertainment, or just for listening (such as banquets).
Price Range: $1500 to $2200 (non-New Year's Eve)
Gig Length: 120 - 180 minutes

What to Expect
We provide the traditional big band experience: dancing, singers, soloists, with well-known original arrangements and favorites from the Big Band era. It is “Dancing. Inspiring. Sentimental."
When you contact us, we will provide you with our fee, based on the parameters you provided. We will immediately check our availability for your date of choice. When we confirm our availability (usually within 3 days), we will send you an official quote. We will work with you to provide any special wishes and requests.
A. Hold your event in Los Alamos! Two hours $800, Three hours $1100.
B. 10 to 50 miles (includes Espanola, Ojo Caliente, Santa Fe): Two hours $1500, Three hours $1800.
C. 51 to 100 miles (includes city of Albuquerque): Two hours $1800, Three hours $2200.
D. Over 100 miles, or special arrangements (includes New Years Eve): Please call or email.

Los Alamos Big Band is a 16-instrument (plus singer) 1940’s Glenn Miller-style swing band. The Band was founded in 1984, and has performed continually to this day. We perform the traditional songs and arrangements from the Big Band Era. Dance to favorites such as “In The Mood”, “String of Pearls”, and “Sing, Sing, Sing”! We enhance the ambience, and memories, of wedding receptions, banquets, anniversary celebrations, and more!
Additional Booking Notes
We provide our own sound system and lighting. We will need two electrical outlets within 50 feet of our performance.

Influences & Inspiration
Our performances are inspired by the 1940s Big Band Era.
We perform music made popular by the Glenn Miller Orchestra, and other big bands of the time.
Provide for the band a minimum 240 sq. ft. playing area, preferably a 20’ wide by 12’ deep footprint, protected from rain. Provide access to the bandstand one hour prior to performance. Provide at least two 110 volt outlets (standard grounded house outlet
