Loreley Pearl Beach Mermaid offers a range of services tailored to your events, including photo opportunities, meet-and-greet interactions, festival entertainment, Renaissance performances, tank appearances, and story time with either a book or an original story. Loreley can tailor the experience to fit your event and is a perfect addition to many events, including corporate parties, birthday parties, festivals and fairs, and weddings. Desiree has been a professional mermaid for 10 years now, starting with her first appearance in San Marcos, TX. She then transferred down to Texas A&M Galveston to receive a B.S. in Marine Biology. During her time in Galveston, she became a staple at the Galveston Children's Museum's Da Vinci Day and has been seen at many other events around the island.

Desiree created Loreley Pearl Beach Mermaid to combine her love for fantasy and imagination with ocean conservation. While Desiree has a background in Marine Biology, she also has an extensive background in acting and theater. Being a mermaid performer is the perfect combination for the two. Loreley's backstory was created with this in mind: choosing her ocean home to be the Flower Garden Banks was due in part to geographical proximity, but also to raise awareness of this unique and important oceanic location. Desiree has also served as a long-time volunteer for the Texas Marine Mammal Stranding Network, even completing a Public Outreach Internship to spread the message of dolphin-safe fishing practices.

Loreley Pearl Beach Mermaid is a magical, unique tool for bringing ocean conservation to your event. She travels all over the state to perform and educate. Loreley hopes to inspire the next generation of conservationists and theater lovers, as both are important in our society.

A private "transformation" space is needed: a place away from the party guests where Loreley can complete her mermaid transformation without breaking the illusion for your guests. The room must be safe and free of hazards. We also request that this room not be a main walkway, and for health and safety reasons, please no bathroom floors. If swimming, a visual inspection of the area is needed before the event for safety and planning purposes. If hiring for a tank performance, access to safe, potable water for consumption is required, as is electrical access for the heater and pool pump.
