Lomotor

I perform with a small electronic music setup, usually on a table or desk, with a few small synthesizers. I can use an existing PA speaker system, or bring my own. This setup requires a standard electrical connection (wall outlets).

Lomotor is the music of Josh Rathbun, a producer and composer crafting dreamy, organic electronic music from a small farm in North Massachusetts. Drawing inspiration from the natural world around him, Lomotor seamlessly blends the sounds of nature—rustling leaves and the distant call of birds—with the rich warmth of analog synthesizers to create lo-fi electronic landscapes. His music is nostalgic, worn, and rooted in the land, reflecting the untouched beauty of old forests, overgrown fields, and the winding streams.

Each track captures the essence of his surroundings—rich with memories and textures—painting vivid soundscapes that echo with the softness of nature's rhythms. Live performances are a dynamic experience, moving from serene, blissful melodies to pulsing, danceable beats, creating an immersive journey between the peaceful and the energetic.
