Standard performances are acoustic and require no electrical power or sound equipment. For outdoor events, a covered performance area is required to protect the instrument from direct sunlight, rain, or excessive heat.

A clean, level performance space with enough room to perform comfortably is appreciated. An armless chair is helpful for longer performances but is not required.

If the event will use an electric violin or amplified performance, access to a standard electrical outlet may be needed. Professional sound equipment and amplification are also available upon request.
