Overview

With over 30 years of experience as a singer, songwriter, and producer, I know how to captivate any audience.
My extensive repertoire of crowd favorites connects with listeners of all ages, ensuring memorable performances every time.

I use a looping pedal to craft rich, layered sounds and the feel of a rhythm section while seamlessly transitioning into lead guitar solos and I'm always open to taking song requests. Even songs I have never played before.

When you book me, you’re hiring a reliable crowd-pleaser who brings energy, authenticity, and unforgettable entertainment to every event.

Highly Recommended Guitarist/Vocalist

I’ve had the privilege of sharing the stage with Lloyd for the last several years as a member of my church worship team, and I can recommend him without hesitation. He is one of the most highly skilled guitarists I’ve ever worked with. His ability to hear a guitar part and reproduce every lick, pattern, and nuance with remarkable accuracy is exceptional. I honestly can’t remember ever hearing him hit a wrong note. He is equally impressive as a vocalist. His soulful, distinctive voice brings personality to every song, and he has a gift for making each performance his own rather than simply reproducing a recording. Just as importantly, Lloyd is highly professional. He comes prepared, knows his music, and performs with a level of confidence that makes everything look effortless. He’s personable and easygoing, which makes him a genuine pleasure to work with. Whether you’re looking for a talented guitarist, a compelling vocalist, or a dependable musician who will elevate your event, Lloyd is someone I would hire with complete confidence.

Influences and inspiration

The first band I became a true fan of as a teenager was Lynyrd Skynyrd so they have had a major influence on me.
When I was 15 my Dad told me he would buy me a Gibson Les Paul guitar if I learned the solo to Free Bird. I learned it a few months later and got my first high end guitar.
A few year later I heard Stevie Ray Vaughn's instrumental version of Little Wing on the radio and it felt like my soul was set on fire. I was obsessed with studying his playing and couldn't get enough of his music. That was when I started practicing 8 to 10 hours a day.
Stevie led me to studying all of the blues greats including, BB King, Muddy Waters, Buddy Guy, Albert King, and Freddie King. Of course Eric Clapton was in the mix. I had been a fan of Jimi Hendrix since my teen years but my second major life shift happened in my early 20s when I started getting deeper into Jimi's catalogue and studyied his playing like I did with Stevie Ray Vaughn. Stevie and Jimi are my main guitar influences. As a songwriter my early influences came Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, The Who, Jimi Hendrix, Alice In Chains, Sound Garden, and Stone Temple pilots. As the years have gone by I have been inspired by Americana, Folk, Country, and Contemporary Worship influences like Ray Lamontagne, Chris Stapleton, Zach Williams, Elevation Worship, Willi Nelson, and Kris Kristofferson.
