Liya Ensemble is ready to perform for your special occasion. We are a group of talented, experienced, professional musicians. We play Wedding Ceremonies, Receptions, Formal Parties, Featured or Background Music. You may hire us as a solo violin, duo, trio and the full quartet.
As our name suggests we can expand to a larger Ensemble including wind or brass instruments. Let us know what you'd like and we will work with you to make your event just as you imagine it.
This is the second time that my husband and I have asked the Liya Ensemble to play during a family wedding. They were wonderful this time as last lending a classic touch to my daughter's ceremony and cocktail hour. Thank you so much for sharing your talent with us!!

We arrive at least 30 minutes prior to booking time to set up and go over any last minute details. If we are performing with a soloist then we typically run through that selection as soon as everyone is ready.
For ceremonies we usually play about 15 - 20 minutes for prelude as guests are being seated. We typically play 2-3 songs for the processional. Sometimes we play a special selection during the ceremony (could be with a singer or soloist) followed by 1-2 songs for the recessional. We then change location for the cocktail hour and the reception.
All music selections are customizable to your preferences. Our price includes a complimentary consultation meeting to go over possible selections and various other considerations.
Our members perform with the National Symphony, National Philharmonic, Fairfax Symphony, Alexandria Symphony, Piedmont Symphony, American Studio Orchestra, American Festival Pops, among others.
In addition to our classical performances we have also performed with various artists including Martina McBride, Stevie Wonder, Michael W. Smith and Amy Grant.
