We love the '80s, too, especially those songs that no longer have a home because they didn't reach the top 10 in the Billboard's charts. Still, they are all songs you remember from the glory days of music. We also have a set of '70s and a set of '90s to spice things up a bit if you so desire.

Our band is mega professional with amazing attention to details both with the music and with your entire event. During Chiropractic school, Lew ran a wedding/Bar-Mitzvah band, and he learned how to put an event together from setting up the room to the husband and wife's first dance. This love for all the "behind the scenes" logistics is still with Lew today.
Recently the band added a sixth member, Lana Wise, our sound engineer. Having a dedicated sound person makes all difference in what you hear!
Lew Singer started Living the '80s over four years ago. It was his idea to bring the best songs from the '80s that no one performs anymore (except the bands that are still out touring) and give them a new home. There were so many great iconic songs from the '80s that are rarely heard anymore (let alone heard live in public) because they weren't in Billboard's one, two, or three slot in the Top 100. All those great songs now have a home thanks to Living the '80s. Your audience will cheer and laugh (and maybe cry happy tears for the memories) when they hear these great songs from the '80s (and a few hits thrown in for good measure).
Our band comes fully equipped with lights and sound. We all use inner-ear monitors for a quiet stage which adds to the sound quality that you hear. We do typically require a stage which can be composed of risers.
