What to expect
Hire Live Radio DFW and you get a tight five-piece variety band delivering two to four hours of recognizable hits from the 60s through today. You pick the vibe - 80s dance party, 70s, classic rock, or all-oldies - and we build the show around it, pacing the energy to match your crowd.
We run a fully self-contained, professional setup with in-ear monitors for every player. In plain terms, that's the modern replacement for the big stage speakers bands used to point at themselves. The band hears its own mix through discreet earpieces, so the stage stays quiet and we control the room volume precisely - guests can dance hard up front and still hold a conversation at the bar.
Expect punctual load-in, a clean stage presentation, and a band that treats your event like a job, not a jam session.
About
Live Radio DFW is a five-piece variety cover band based in the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex, ushering in a renaissance of true variety entertainment for clubs, breweries, restaurants, corporate events, and private parties.
Our concept is simple: most cover acts only carry a couple hours of songs people actually recognize. We fix that. With a catalog of 100+ songs spanning the 60s, 70s, 80s, and today, we deliver two-to-four-hour performances built around themed sets we call "Stations" — The All 80s Station, The All 70s (No Disco) Station, The Classic Rock Station, and The All Oldies Station. You pick the Station, we pack the dance floor.
Additional booking notes
We're a five-piece band, so we need a reasonable amount of space, roughly 16 feet wide by 10 feet deep, on flat ground with access to standard power. We can tighten up for smaller rooms or spread out for bigger stages.
We bring our own sound, instruments, in-ear monitors, and basic lighting, so we're fully self-contained for most events.
Anything extra like a built stage, upgraded lighting, fog, or bubble machines, we're happy to arrange or coordinate with your production team. Outdoor shows need cover for the band and gear.

Influences and inspiration
Our sound pulls from the biggest names in rock, pop, and new wave across six decades. On the 80s side we draw heavily from Prince, Madonna, Bon Jovi, Duran Duran, Billy Idol, The Cars, Blondie, Pat Benatar, Joan Jett, Def Leppard, Journey, Tears For Fears, and The Police.
The 70s and classic rock end leans on Fleetwood Mac, Eagles, Tom Petty, ELO, Doobie Brothers, Queen, Stevie Wonder, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Chicago, and Stevie Ray Vaughan. From the 60s we tip our hat to The Beatles, The Temptations, and other Motown and British Invasion staples.
We also keep things current with newer artists like Chris Stapleton, Black Keys, Dua Lipa, Elle King, and Miley Cyrus, so every crowd hears something familiar.
