The format varies by event. Paper portraits give guests an 11x14 take-home keepsake. Wine bottle portraits are painted directly onto bottles provided by the host. Window portraits create a live installation and photo op that the whole room can enjoy.

Cecilia Nava is a Santa Clara-based artist and the founder of Parcel Pigeon. She's been entrepreneurial since childhood, selling lemonade in her neighborhood and stationery to classmates in second grade. Some things don't change.

Before building Parcel Pigeon, Cecilia worked in community-facing roles in government and retail, where she developed a deep love for connecting with people. That same energy shows up in her live portrait work.

She believes there is beauty in everyday things, and that slowing down to draw someone in front of you is one of the most genuine ways to show it. Guests often say they've never felt so seen. That's exactly the point.
