Overview
I create impressionistic artworks live in my own original style, using a combination of ink and charcoal.
One approach I use is creating large mixed media drawing (for yours to keep!) based on the theme of your event or any suggestion you might have.
I can also do quick expressionist portraits of your partygoers that they can take home with them.
The works created can range from colorful and joyful to dark and mysterious - whatever style your event calls for!
I use only professional tools and high quality art paper, have my own car for reliable transportation, and can come equipped with my own setup if needed.

It was truly a pleasure to work with Madeline - she was professional, adaptable and incredibly talented. We had quite the odd set up to our event and she was easily able to navigate the complexity. All of our guests left with a picture that they will keep for ever. We can't wait to work with her again!!!

What to expect
My caricatures are not in the usual style you see at street fairs or carnivals. I create quick portraits in my own surrealistic, expressionistic style through ink, charcoal and other simple, unmessy media. The result is not something cartoonish, but rather an aesthetically pleasing art piece that can be displayed as such.
Each session lasts about 5-10 minutes for a basic, quick drawing, or 20-30 minutes for a more detailed portrait.
I can provide my own table (a small card table with black tablecloth) or am happy to work with whatever setup you'd prefer.
About
I'm an artist that has worked and exhibited in NYC, LA, Chicago, Denver, Phoenix, and has taught at institutions around the country. I attended the Art Institute of Chicago for my BFA and recently received my MFA at Maharishi International University.
