I'm able to offer many different options, so what you can expect simply depends on what you choose to book. If you don't want to choose - no worries - just let me know that, your event's vibe, and your budget, and I'll take it from there! In my original artist act, my look is very 70's inspired, but if you want a different look just let me know and I am happy to abide.

I can either perform a set of all covers, all originals, or a mix of both. I prefer to make my covers a bit funky, so a lot of what I play already draws from the funk era, and I also love to put a funky spin on songs from other genres. If you leave the set up to me, you can expect a healthy mix of funk classics, popular oldies, current hits, and r&b/soul classics - however if you have a specific genre, era, or band you want me to cover, I'm happy to do that as well! My original music is mainly funk/jazz/pop fusion, with some songs leaning more into funk and other leaning more into R&B.

I can also perform solo to tracks, I can show up and work with your house band, or I can bring a band of incredible musicians I regularly work with! I can perform as a duo (either guitar or piano accompanying me), a trio (vocals, guitar or piano, and bass), or a full band (4+ musicians). If you want the music to be more of a focal point of your event, I strongly recommend booking a full band, but if you want it to be more in the background/atmosphere setting, a duo or trio can be a wonderful choice as well. As you'll see in my video, I'm able to turn the energy all the way up and hype up the crowd, or dial it back and just provide some atmosphere for your guests. It all depends on what you're looking for! I am an experienced bandleader as well so I can instruct the musicians to follow my lead in any style we choose to go with.

Hi! I'm Valeree, I've been singing for my entire life. I grew up training in musical theater, then began performing professionally as a r&b/rock/pop singer around Los Angeles in my teens. From there, I began privately training in other vocal styles such as Jazz and Funk. I've been performing professionally for 13 years now, I've worked with all kinds of bands and worked in any setting you can imagine. I've done it all: I've been a wedding singer, a restaurant jazz vocalist, I've headlined private events for major league sports teams, and I've played friend's backyards!
I have a career as an artist with my original music as well, which has given me a lot of unique experience in putting on and creatively directing a SHOW. I would typically be considered a "Powerhouse Vocalist", think the Lady Gaga, Adele, Whitney Houston vocal types - but I also love to sing in other, softer styles; in fact- I get some of the most enthusiastic reactions when I cover notoriously soft singer Billie Eilish!
I'm happy to be in the driver's seat creatively if you don't want the music of your event being one more thing on your plate, and I'm equally happy to take your direction if you have a specific vision! I'm known for my versatility, both in vocal style and performance, so any show you can dream of, I can put on. I can't wait to work with you and bring your vision to life!

If you have a sound system and live sound engineer available, that's wonderful! I can easily coordinate with them to ensure your event sounds amazing. If you don't, no problem! I have extremely high quality equipment that I can bring into any setting and turn it into the stage of your dreams. I can also bring a wonderful live sound engineer to ensure everything sounds wonderful whilst the band and I are busy performing.
