Little Meow is a self-contained solo act that brings music, magic, and visual storytelling to a variety of venues — from living rooms and libraries to theaters and outdoor festivals. To ensure a smooth performance, here are the basic technical needs:
🎥 Video Introduction (Animated Short Preview)
Every show opens with a 15-minute animated video that sets the story before the live performance begins.
Performer will provide a projector and portable screen (unless venue already has equipment).
Requires a 6–8 ft projection space (blank wall or screen area).
For best visibility, dimmed lighting during the video segment is recommended.
🔊 Sound Requirements
For small events (birthday parties, libraries, classrooms), Little Meow can bring a compact PA system (battery-powered or plug-in).
For larger venues (auditoriums, theaters, festivals), access to a house PA system with AUX input or ⅛” stereo jack is preferred.
Performer uses a handheld or headset mic (can bring own wireless mic upon request).
Backing tracks are played from iPad or USB — please provide simple AUX or Bluetooth input if PA is provided.
💡 Lighting
General lighting is fine for most smaller events.
Dimmed lighting preferred during video screening.
Spotlights or theatrical lighting welcome for larger setups (but not required).
🎭 Performance Space
Minimum clear area: 6 ft x 6 ft
Allow room for light movement and dancing.
A small nearby space for costume changing or storage is helpful.
