Overview

I am an aerial performer with 16 years of experience. I specialize in aerial rope (corde lisse), but I'm also happy to perform on trapeze and silks. I can offer dynamic performances that are clean, creative and current, that add spectacle, texture, depth and nuance to your event.

About

I've been practicing aerial arts for 16 years, and am currently an instructor of corde lisse (rope) and tissu (fabric) at Warped Studio in Milwaukee. I am also the Assistant Director there, under Maria Hackbarth, founder and director.

I wrote and produced my first original show in 2012 titled "Wind at my Back" for Philadelphia Fringe Festival. After that, I briefly toured a solo show, "A House for Birds", which I developed in residence at Penasco Theater in New Mexico. I toured on the east coast out of Philadelphia with the Give and Take Jugglers for some years (I spent about ten in Philly). These were family shows in a variety of venues, festivals, etc. I produced a number of other independent productions, collaborating with artists, directors, performers, and other professions in a variety of experimental and gallery contexts.

Since moving back to Wisconsin in late 2019, I've been working with Warped Dance Company. I had the pleasure of writing and narrating a new Dracula performance ("Lucy's Revenge") in 2022. I consider myself a show creator, coordinator and producer as well as a performer, and I am happy to work with others to fulfill their vision of a fabulous event.
