STOMPIN’ GROUNDS was created in March 2017 by Tessa and Dustin Sturm, who are two country souls that met line dancing and two-stepping at Tinhorn Flats in Hollywood, California on November 2, 2016. Their love for each other was evident in the way they connected on the dance floor. On their one-year anniversary, in February 2018 after watching a George Strait concert in Vegas, Dustin popped the big question and Tessa did not hesitate to say YES! They moved to Nashville a few months later to get back to their southern roots, be closer to family, and help build a line dancing community in Nashville. They were married in Bledsoe, Kentucky on November 10, 2018 and almost a year later on November 2, 2019 they welcomed their first baby boy into the world. Wyatt Lockwood Sturm has been moving and grooving since before he was born at numerous private and corporate events in Tennessee and Texas. He loves dancing and country music as much as his mom and dad.

We came to Nashville to provide the best Country Line Dancing Entertainment. Turned down by every bar on the strip, and then one GM gave Dustin a Gentleman Handshake, and it began.

Our Company became sought after, we have taught people from all over the world and we would love to teach your group!
