Lindsey Hanks Music - Violin/Fiddle

Quality and passion is top priority! Each event will be met with a slightly different flare. Depending on the event, an acoustic set up or electric set up will be used.
In a smaller more intimate setting, you are likely to find Lindsey playing acoustic, while a larger or outdoor event might call for an electric set up. You may only need 30 minutes of music before an event or during an intermission to fill the halls and venue with a little mood. On the other hand, you may need a couple hours of music for a longer event, fitting perfectly in to the background. An electric set up might be the best for this.
Music will vary per event, but will be developed from a repertoire of rock and pop favorites from different decades, folk and acoustic favorites, some classical flare, folk fiddle tunes of various styles, themes and movies, and even video game and anime music!
For some events, Lindsey will play seated and off to the side, while others she might be standing with her music, closer to the event attendees to provide a more interactive stroll feel.
Finding the best plan for your event is key. You plan the party, Lindsey will handle the background music.

Lindsey has a great love for music and began violin as a child (that’s 20+ years!). Through classical training, many years in orchestras, and guidance by wonderful instructors, she has had the opportunity to explore a variety of music options, playing anything from fiddle and folk to classical. Lindsey loves exploring all kinds of rock, country, and electric variations on the classic and pop tunes, as well as less mainstream, and folk tunes from a variety of cultures. She pours that curiosity into her music and explores ideas and music combinations not so widely coupled.
In addition to music, Lindsey holds a B.F.A. in art from the University of Texas at Arlington.

Background music is not the focus of the event, but the glue.
Lindsey’s goal is to fit in, fill the room, but not stick out. It provides just the right atmosphere to make the room feel complete and comfortable!

An electric set up: Electric violin, , electric setup, music stand, chair or stool, electrical outlets.
