Lightnin' Stik

Lightnin' Stik brings more than the music, they bring a high energy show that is intriguing and captivating for most new listeners attempting to digest the new surprises found in each song. Steve is a solid time keeper on the drums with the ability to play rudiments that tempo each song in ways that keep the energy high and exciting. Brent brings the thunder on the electric bass that when locked in with the drum beat leaves most listeners in their dance mode. Shon keeps a strong grasp on the riffs and leads through out each song, driving home the signature melodies in way that keeps listeners humming or playing these songs in their head for days. Rick comes off as a front-man with many talents to get the audience involved and has a character that people have grown to love and enjoy all night long, on stage and off. Together, your night will come off as the best time your friends and family have enjoyed in a very long time.

Lightnin' Stik was created when Nashville loved and wanted to be a part of the production of almost 20 original songs that they deemed worth to be on the air next to some of the past legends. Using old style rock n roll sounds that made rock great in the first place, these producers agreed that the writing skills of this group were what made the project an ultimate success. As others began hearing these songs, they signed on as fans and friends willing to help promote what most are calling what rock n roll was meant to be; dance-able, fun and clean for all ages. Twenty-percent of our set is covers that everyone loves and the remaining are originals embraced by many listeners far and wide. Book us for a great opener or small party band and you will be amazed at how much fun this group can be on stage. Willing to travel a long tour for the right opportunity.

Our band requires a PA system, which can be rented from Guitar Center or most party rental stores. At a minimum, two 2400w 18" subs and two 2000w 15" mains with a mixing board and all the cables to operate it, including a snake to the stage and one 220v drop to power them. We can set it up and adjust the equipment to a pretty good auto pilot sound system for the evening, if you don't have a sound person on site.

Lighting and other stage effects can be rented as well for some pretty radical environments, but while we are performing, we are unable to operate lighting or audio equipment. A sound and light person may also be required to manage the audio and lighting during the show.

Monitors or earbuds are also necessary to allow us to hear what we are performing to keep our sound right. Basically, we plug in and play, so a sound and light or DJ company may be a best option where this equipment is not provided.
