Overview
You will experience improvisational piano compared (by listeners!) with works by Phillip Glass or Ludovico Einaudi. Others have compared the music to the sound of rushing water in its lively, yet peaceful tone. Each performance is never repeated, as the music is designed for tailoring to a setting. The style is inspired by classical instrumental music and operatic vocal lines. Each piece is as music written for a film score, setting the soundtrack for your event.

What to expect
I play 100% of my music improvised in the moment, so I am bringing myself with my fifteen years of piano experience and a nice dress :) I love to play on a real piano. I also have a Bose sounds system and Nord keyboard I can bring with me to play if a piano is not available.
About
I started playing piano at seven years old. When my mother bought me a piano, I played the first few notes and exclaimed "Mommy, this is heaven!" From then on, I trained for seven years with a private instructor. I went to college to be an English teacher, but soon discovered I enjoyed singing more after taking a few lessons in college. I graduated from college with a Bachelor's degree in Vocal Performance. Piano came back into my life when I watched a friend improvise on the piano in a school dining hall. I saw it and said to myself "I can do that!" I used my years of training and inspiration from a friend to begin playing for friends and events. I am now playing piano as performer for twelve hours a week. I love combining the arching melodies and storytelling theatricality of opera into my compositions. Cheers to a beautiful, musical life!
