Liam Calhoun - Acoustic/Electric Violin

Liam was absolutely fantastic! We knew when speaking to the venue who required an acoustic musician we wanted the violin. His repertoire is huge, and we gave him such a mix of songs/genres/decades that were all strewn together so perfectly! He and our officiant spoke prior to the ceremony discussing the cues, and it went so smoothly! Our guests honestly could not stop coming up to us to say how incredible he is, and to just stop and look to listen! Communication is clear, and he knew the venue well so he helped us navigate the day! Thank you so much Liam, we couldn't have wished for a more perfect accompaniment for our day!

Liam is an exceptional performer and professional! He was so kind and positive throughout the planning process, and day of made the experience truly magical. He had great suggestions about timing, song choice, tempo, and style to make my proposal so special, and was also willing to adapt to requests very collaboratively. He was eager and willing to perform some niche songs that were special to us, and play them just the way I imagined -- he took a random niche piece and made it sound perfect. My fiancee is a musician with a high bar for performance, and commented on how much she liked and was impressed by the music too.

Having someone so talented was awesome, and more than that, Liam was a joy and easy to work with too. He also worked super well with the photographer & decor artist team, was positive, kind, and even stealthy coming in and out to make everything seem magical. I would HIGHLY recommend him!

Liam was a wonderful addition to our ceremony at the Niagara Parks Botanical Gardens. He handled an outdoor setting with *no power*, bringing his own setup and filling the gardens with elegant music. He was professional and easy to coordinate with in the lead-up, flexible with weather on the day, and even learned and produced a backing track for a special song for us, at a very reasonable rate. We're very happy to recommend him.
