Whether you call it LGBTQ, LGBT, GLBT, or any other variation, this population has unique needs. You may not be filling those needs and I want to help. Let's train your staff on how to best meet the needs of this community by creating a welcoming and affirming environment. Your keynote, presentation, workshop, or training will be an opportunity for me to weave my humor, story, and knowledge for the betterment of the participants. This is my passion and you'll have clear takeaways, action items, and a new friend (because the learning and growing doesn't stop here). With 10+ years of experience, a Masters in Social Work, and being LGBTQ myself... let's get the ball rolling!

What to Expect
Learning doesn't have to be dry; let's make it interactive and I promise not to hide behind a Powerpoint presentation. There's also no cookie cutter experience, you need something uniquely tailored to your place of work or needs in general. So, I honor that and look forward to discussing what you're looking for!
Ideal audiences are college and university students, helping professionals (social work, therapy, case managers, frontline staff), and other adults. Born and raised in the San Fernando Valley, I'm one of the few natives who has managed to stick around. I've become familiar with resources available to the LGBTQ community within Southern California. Having worked and volunteered for places like The Trevor Project, TEEN LINE, More Than Sex-Ed, and other opportunities, I am well-connected! Previous speaking opportunities have landed me at places like APLA, USC's School of Social Work, Pepperdine University's MFT Program, CSUN, Pierce Community College, California Society of Clinical Social Work, CSUCI, and Western University of Health Sciences. I got my Bachelor's in Social Work from CSULA and my Master's in Social Work from USC.
