Before your event, we will discuss the moment you'd like me to capture. I'm happy to speak with you over the phone or email. I want the artwork to capture your personalities and your big day.
I arrive well before the ceremony to plan my painting and get started. After the wedding, I'll take the painting back to my home studio to finalize details and let the oil paint dry. And then, I either ship it to you or we can meet up if you are in the Athens, Ga area.
I also offer quick watercolor guest portraits on paper.

Lexi met with us in person on more than one occasion to hear our vision for the painting and to visit the venue to see the location for herself. For my live oil portraits, I prefer to keep the couple in the spotlight with a simple background that doesn't distract from the main focus.
My guest portraits are done in pencil, watercolor and copic markers on 4x6 inch paper. I have other artists that I team up with for larger events.

I'm Alexia "Lexi" Nemecek and the artist behind Lexi Brite Art +Design. I'm an Athens, Georgia based painter who enjoys working with bright colors and oil paints. But occasionally you'll find me using acrylics, watercolor, gouache and sometimes even digital design.
I will need access to power if there isn't natural light. I bring everything I need, but if the venue provides a small table and chair - that would be great!
