Lesly Ambrocio is a survivor of childhood trauma and domestic abuse.
She emigrated to the United States in 2010, having been born in Guatemala, a country in Central America.
Lesly graduated as an Urban Primary Education Teacher and studied medicine for three years. She is a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant By National Health Association and an advocate for support services for children with special needs. Currently, she works as a caregiver for the In-Home Support Services Program in Alameda County, California. Additionally, she serves as a Campus Safety Assistant in the San Lorenzo Unified School District and holds a CPR and First Aid Level 1 instructor certification.
As a Single mother of two children with special needs, Lesly is dedicated to her mission of sharing her story with the world to empower women who have experienced domestic violence. She emphasizes that they are not alone and that through resilience and seeking necessary resources, they can overcome their struggles.
Furthermore, she aims to empower parents of children with special needs by providing them with the knowledge and tools needed to advocate for the appropriate services their children require and to enforce special education laws.
