Jazz and Latin Quartet.Lee is a national recording artist with his premiere release "388 Marlborough Street" charting #12 with his single "Until You Come back to Me" featuring Guitarist Kevin Eubanks and bassist Victor Bailey, and Lee's recent release Vermillion Sands.featuring some the country's finest instrumentalists.
Lee's repertoire and fiery drumming style to take you on a magical journey through so many genres of jazz, and features Teddy Burgh Flute, Soprano as well as Kevin Kolb Piano, and Keyboards, Taylor Lee Bass.
The group is also very suitable for wedding receptions, and private functions ..

Vermillion Sands takes their audience on a music journey.Lee's versatile boundary of original compositions serve up a combination of firey Latin original instrumentals, Electric Jazz selections from Lee's 388 Marlborough Street and Vermillion Sands cds,along with features for his outstanding rhythm section featuring Taylor Lee bass as well as Kevin Kolb Keyboards with such favorites as Maputo- (David Sanborn),to St Thomas (Sonny Rollins) which features the amazing Teddy Burgh on Flute.
The band has been together for over half a decade, and has performed in various club appearances Local and Regional Jazz and Blues Festivals, and has shared the stage with Fourplay,and Herbie (link hidden)n't be fooled to think that this band can only play jazz...
Lees group has performed at the Greater Sports Hall of Fame in Wilmington for the last 4 years as well as many private functions,including wedding receptions, and celebrations...

About

Vermillion Sands is comprised of experienced Keyboardist Kevin Kolb a student of Billy Taylor has shared the stage with Ray Charles,Steve Bailey to name a few.. Flautist and multi-reeds Teddy Burgh has shared the stage with Phyllis Hyman and Ray Charles- Bassist extraordinaire Taylor Lee a standout has performed with Mark Whitfield, Kim Plainfield, as well as Will Kennedy and Lee Rittenour. Lee has released two national solo recordings "388 Marlborough Street" which features Kevin Eubanks,Victor Bailey, Dean Brown and "Vermillion Sands" featuring Kofi Burbridge- Derek Trucks ARU(Aquarium Rescue Unit) and Bill Cantos session great along with percussionists Count M'buto ( Derek Trucks,Col Bruce Hampton,Frog Wings)and Petro Bass-Phyllis Hyman, Norman Connors,Paul Simon and others.Lee has either toured performed or recorded with Norman Connors, Tony Guererro ,Aquarium Rescue Unit,Ted Howe,Gary Bartz, Eric Marienthal, Baron Browne Victor Bailey,Kevin Eubanks,Rob Mullins Jeff Kashiwa, Jimmy Herring, Oteil Burbridge, Carnavalito Jim Quick and Coastline,and many others see complete Bio @ (link hidden).
