She is frequently booked to speak to parent groups, schools, professional and child development programs because of her ability to discern children's challenging behavior and offer action steps that yield authentic, long-lasting transformation. Her ability to inspire responsibility, compassion and cooperation in children has earned her the title of "the child whisperer". Melissa Schwartz, a University Massachusetts graduate, brings 15 years of experience with children from infancy through teenagers into her work as a Transformational Parent Coach. She has earned a reputation as someone who truly understands how to be with children, recognizing the unmet needs causing misbehavior, inspiring cooperation and positive behavior without guilt, threats, shame or punishment.

Melissa knows first hand what it feels like to be labeled a challenging child. She was born an intense, sensitive, power seeking soul. Her passion for giving a ‘voice’ to the legitimate needs of children naturally evolved into becoming the co-creator of Leading Edge Parenting’s programs and collaborator of "Authentic Parenting Power". Melissa has discovered how to transcend the challenges of her sensitivity into extraordinary gifts, using her high-spirited nature to communicate in an authentic, loving way – creating the trust necessary for children and adults alike to open up, find their voice and learn how to walk in the direction of their dreams. Melissa’s support and encouragement allows others to transcend their current struggles and re-discover their worthiness.
