I started writing music in 2008; when i finally moved up to Fargo North Dakota; i got heavy in writing. then i talked to the old y94 dj Johnny Marks and asked who i should talk to about getting started in music scene. He told me about a guy named Charlie Mizza. Ive been under his wing since 2009 and mentored me in the musician i am now. I faced alot of steps to climb from being bullied in school; getting death threats, thoughts of suicide. i rather talk about what kept me in music. My family supported me; the small group of friends i had; and the mentors! but the obvious answer is when i heard Smile by Scarface ft Tupac is when it lit a fire under me. My passion grew when i was in theatre class when i saw i could get up in front of anyone and do the stupiest thing. i knew i was a performer; i just needed to find what my voice was in the hip hop game. then i met Ken-C and Coolie at the Red River Valley Fair and i was hooked!!!! A couple years grinding perfecting my writing and my voice. Getting my 1st EP done. Being Me ep done at King Dueces studio but still havent found my calling then i start booking all ages hip hop shows at the New Direction since 2012. Bringing 701 Hip Hop back into the focus.
