At our recent anniversary celebration and annual meeting, Laurent provided a spoken word performance that was absolutely incredible. It was set to a soundtrack and accompanied by a video piece that played on the screen behind. Laurent's performance brought chills and has elicited excitement throughout our region in the days since. He clearly possesses immense talent and carries an equal amount of professionalism.
Laurent was the perfect person for our project! He understood the vision of our theme and wrote a spoken word piece that was exactly what we were hoping for. He was quick on response time, accommodating for schedules, and a pleasure to work with in person as well. He performed his piece for a video shoot that we used in conjunction with a live band and he was so well prepared that it made the shoot go very smoothly. We would use him again in a heartbeat!
Simply stated, Laurent is amazing. We were in need of a quick turn video script and voiceover. I reached out to Laurent to pitch the idea, share the specifics and beg forgiveness for the right deadline. Not only did he deliver, but the work was exceptional! After sharing with my team I heard the audio played several times throughout the day as my colleagues discussed how amazing and inspirational the final piece was. Laurent took a 10 minute phone call and crafted a spot-on, eloquent piece. He is truly talented, and I can not recommend him highly enough!
Laurent is an extremely talented poet and is great at instructing others in their poetry. Not only is he encouraging but helps students with their creativity--guiding them to new ideas. In this poetry workshop, Laurent worked with us to create original poetry and in performing his own work, he taught us skills to do it ourselves.
I am extremely pleased with Mr . Che’s performance! He performed for our organization for an MLK celebration as our keynote speaker. I have received multiple text, emails and phone calls expressing how enthusiastic, knowledgeable and entertaining his presentation was. We want him back soon!
We were excited to have The Gentleman Poet speak at our company event. He took the time to leaen about our company and what the topic of our meeting was so he could speak to us in a way that resonated. His speach was motivating and inspring and we look forward to working with him again.
Laurent wrote this piece for me as a tribute to my mother whom I lost 3/5/21. Let's just say he understood the assignment. He actually went above and beyond and brought so much joy to my family with this poem. I first listened to Laurent at a spoken word night at a local club here in Cincy and fell in love with his stage presence and poetry. When I decided to start this project, he was the first person that came to mind. What I thought would be a difficult task, he made seem so easy and natural. I went into this with my eyes closed and trusted his creativity and I'm so glad that I chose him as the poet.
I hope one day everyone can experience the talent that Laurent has to offer because he is ALL OF THE ABOVE!
