Master's Recital
I have a Bachelor of Arts in Vocal Performance from Albion College and a Masters of Music in Vocal Performance from Bowling Green State University and I have 15 years of piano experience as well. Music brings me so much joy, and I love to share that joy with others. I currently work as a cantor at St. Colette Catholic Church and St. Thomas the Apostle and share my passion with the parishioners there. I have a lot of performance experience and am very flexible with fees and performance locations; I can sing different genres of music and perform in different languages for any event! I have sung in English, Italian, German, French, Korean, Russian, Polish, Georgian, Latin, and Spanish.

October 17, 2019Lauren was basically the factor that made our ceremony. Forget the kiss, the vows, The I do’s....Lauren sang Ave Maria right after communion and had the entire processional in Awe. I booked Lauren last minute due to a cancelation from our other performer. Without much preparation or pre-event chat, Lauren executed beyond words. A true professional who captured the attention of even the youngest church go-ers. I wish I was getting married again just so I can hear Lauren sing. Thank you so much for coming to the rescue and handling our ceremony with absolute perfection.

I am a Spinto Soprano, so my voice is large and rich. When I perform I do not bring my own accompanist , so one would need to be hired as well, or I can provide back tracks to most songs and I can also sing acapella.
I can offer a wide variety of styles and selections for music and I am willing to learn any piece of music requested of me.
I am a classically trained Opera singer with degrees from both Albion College (BA) and Bowling Green State University (MM) in Vocal Performance. I have been singing professionally at weddings, funerals, and classical festivals for close to 10 years now. I have experience in the Catholic Church with mass planning and performance and I also have performed in numerous countries around the world in showcases and competitions.
I currently live in the Bay Area of San Francisco, but I am originally from Detroit, MI.
