I am a Texas Longhorn at heart and a transplant to the South Lake Tahoe area, which I have called home since 2006. Today, I am a destination wedding photographer available for event, portrait and wedding photography in the Reno Tahoe Area and all over the world. I love traveling so wherever your adventure may be taking you, I want to come along!

In addition to my standard photography services, I am also a contributing photographer to the Tahoe Mountain News as well as a contributing blogger and photographer for Tahoe South. I am frequently found snapping photos of locals at South Lake Tahoe events. In the summer I like to volunteer with our local cycling clubs, the Alta Alpina Cycling Club and the Tahoe Area Mountain Biking Association. In the wintertime, I like to volunteer with Disabled Sports USA Far West.

I’m loud. I laugh, a lot. My favorite word is “obstreperous.” I am an adventurer and athlete, claiming the following to my sports resume: runner, swimmer, cyclist, snowboarder, and sometimes climber. I am a music lover, prolific reader of literature, and traveler. The only bottle of wine I don’t like has the word Merlot on it. I think that guacamole is an all the time food and when I’m not doing athletics, you’ll probably find me on the dance floor.

I love weddings of all kind, but I also recognize that not all weddings are lavish affairs. I have a soft spot for small, informal weddings and elopements or otherwise non-traditional weddings. If you are having a small wedding or elopement of less than three hours, I offer an hourly rate for weddings of this nature.
