What to expect
You can expect me to listen to your wants and try to find pieces that best fit your style! I will keep open communication up until and during the event. I make it my goal to arrive early in case changes need to be made as well as allow time for set up. You can also count on me to look and act professional throughout the event.
About
Hi! I’m Laurel Hart! I’m very passionate about music and sharing my love for music with others. I’ve been playing piano since I was 8 years old, have both a Bachelor and Master’s degree in Music Education with a Piano principle. Upon graduating with my Mater’s, I began teaching private piano and became the head church pianist at our church while performing for gigs and accompanying choirs on the side. I also was a choir/band director for full time for 5 years before moving to Raleigh, NC. Shortly after we moved to Raleigh, my husband and I started a family and I am currently a stay at home mom while our two precious little boys are young! But, even though I am home with our sons, I keep up piano by performing for gigs, playing keyboard on our church’s worship team and also I do some writing/arranging of my own! I was classically trained, but love to play anything and everything: classical, jazz, pop, swing, blues, country, light and easy, sacred/Christian hymns, worship music, rock, soundtracks and more!
