What to expect
I am a Classically trained Flutist. I provide music suitable for wedding ceremonies, dinner music, light background music for receptions. I play Classical, Smooth Jazz, Latin, Pop and Christian. I have backing tracks to enhance and complete the sound.
About
Laura Volenik is an active freelance musician throughout Northeastern Ohio and Western Pennsylvania. She is in high demand and performs regularly for musicals, weddings, festivals, and parties. Laura also has an extensive background in studio recording and can be heard on a wide variety of recordings from Film Festivals to nationally-aired commercials. From The University of Akron, Laura received her Bachelor of Music Performance as well as Master of Music Education degrees. She was a Band Director at Valley Christian, the Youngstown Diocese, and Liberty Schools. Laura has served as the Ohio Music Educators Association District V Treasurer. She was also the winner of the 2000 Tuesday Musical Club Performance Competition and the COFA Piccolo Competition. In her free time, Laura is the owner of Hype Slime Design and The Sunshine Slimes Co both shops sell exclusively on Etsy.
