I personalize each performance to parallel the occasion from attire to chosen songs. I have a powerful yet minimal Bose tower speaker set up with my Yamaha keyboard.
I pride myself on being background music when necessary and more of an entertainer when requested.

Laura Sawosko is an artist in every sense of the word as a pianist, singer-songwriter, guitarist, piano instructor and painter.
After graduating Cum Laude from Arizona State University with a degree in Music, she toured the West Coast.
Laura was the keyboardist in the band Surrender Dorothy which opened for Lilith Fair with Sarah McLachlin, Sheryl Crow, and Dido. Laura has opened for other major artists including Edwin McCain and Sarah Buxton during her successful solo career.
She released four albums under her indie label Lolo Records and
composed the original piano score for the independent film, An Intimate Friendship, by Filling The Gap Productions. It was acclaimed by audiences everywhere after headlining both national and international film festivals.
You also may have seen Laura on NBC's #1 rated show, Fear Factor. Although she did not win, it only proves how fearless Laura is in life and as an artist.
Laura moved to Nashville in 2010 and her music has truly evolved. Her songs have been recognized by Publishers for her graphic story telling with a melodic and poetic undertone.
She continues to entertain audiences with her first instrument, the piano. She describes playing the piano “like breathing” because she has been playing since she was six years old. Her impressive portfolio includes weddings, corporate events, private functions and Casinos.

I do not require any specific lighting or sound. I can perform with my own sound system upon request and all of my music is on my iPad so I can perform in any lighting.
