Overview
Nova Scotia's most refreshing party band, the Laughing Freemen respectfully and magnificently perform a unique mix of classic rock/pop/dance gems. Four musicians share decades of performing experience, a love for forgotten musical treasures, and meticulous attention to details that make songs great. With a pro PA and Light rig (if required), the band fine tunes its shows to the event/venue, making every show special and memorable. The Laughing Freemen perform Plugged-In or Unplugged, and can provide eveything from a single classical guitarist, or an intimate Kitchen Party or cocktail party, to a full-on dance party!

I hired these guys for our corporate Xmas party (insurance company) in Dec 2013....and they were so much fun. First of all....great sound and lights....not too loud (I hate it when bands are too loud). They had the show ready to go well ahead of time, and we're very efficient in organizing the event in the first place. They took a number of requests (including 2 songs that we pre-arranged for them to play....and they nailed them!!), and even got two of our exuberant co-workers up on stage to sing with them...LOL!!!
A great experience all in all. Thanx to Danny Banfield and the Laughing Freemen!

With an ever-growing song-list of literally hundreds of classic pop/rock/dance/country/R&B/etc hits, The Laughing Freemen want you to hear the type of music you most enjoy....so we customize every show to your musical desires. Special songs, first dances, musical skits and gags...we've done it all! With a promise of professional, prompt, courteous and fun dealings, no "ear-bleedingly" loud PA (our boys are pro techs and musicians), the ability to honour requests on the spot (obviously, we don't know every song....but we know a whole lot more than most!!), your choice for entertainment for your special event is easy - THE LAUGHING FREEMEN!!
