LaToria is a inspiration speaker, and artist who has a passion to see women and young ladies live a life of freedom!

Her approach offers an refreshing blend of inspirational speech and music that's a mixture of Hip Hop, Soul and (link hidden)e coins her style as 'a journey from mellow to turn't up and every stop in between.' She has performed at various events around the United States and shared the stage with artists such as, Matthew Schuler, Dez Duran from the Hit TV Show, The Voice, Lecrae and many more. She currently has a couple of her singles playing on radio stations in Africa, Ireland and the UK as well as Pandora, iTunes and all other digital outlets.

LaToria is from Dallas, TX., but people in attendance immediately become fans wherever she shares her music. She has fans of all ages, but generally appeals to the 18 & up crowd. She has released three projects independently (A Simple Task, Ao1 EP and The Long Walk Vol 1).

Big hair and big personality aren’t all she has to offer. With an energy all her own, LaToria brings an eclectic feel to the hip hop music she makes. Whether it’s a high energy anthem, or a story she’s telling accompanied by soulful melodies, LaToria aims to offer hope, light, and truth to those who listen to her music all while providing an experience in the process.

Born and raised in Dallas, TX, LaToria grew up the oldest in a household of 5 children. “I was raised by my mom and aunt, they were like super heroes to me! I grew up watching really strong women handle tough life issues and I admired that.” She recounts. “At an early age I learned the concept of helping to “meet the need”. There were 5 kids and often times only one parent at home, which meant one child needed tending to in some way, whether it be homework or combing someone’s hair, being the oldest, that’s where I was asked to step in and do my part to help.”

At the age of 7, LaToria fell in love with Hip Hop. She looked up to female artists such as, Queen Latifah and MC Lyte, because of their no nonsense attitude and charismatic rhyming ability. Growing up in a Christian home, she desired to do the same thing in a way that shared the message of the gospel.

LaToria has had the privilege of sharing the stage and opening for artist such as Matthew Schuler , Dez Duron and Brandon Chase of the hit TV show, THE VOICE, Natalie Lauren (fka Suzy Rock), Flame (Clear Sight Music), Lecrae, Trip Lee,Tedashii (Reach Records), Derek Minor(RMG) and many more as well as featuring on several compilations, mixtapes and projects.

LaToria currently resides in Dallas, Texas where she serves at The Village Church and hosts weekly Bible studies with co-workers. She also partners with NA-US music group and the Good Tree clothing team, two organizations focused on engaging the community around them and sharing the love of Christ through music, ministry and fashion.
