The Late Show's Gospel Choir was organized by Lady Peachena, in '95, & they performed on CBS TV's "Late Show With David Letterman," from 1995 to 2005. This awesome choir just sang on ABC TV'S "Jimmy Kimmel Show." (10/16/2018). Last week (10/12/2018) they filmed a Christmas Special with TRU TV'S "Impractical Jokers" cast at The St. George Theater in Staten Island, NY. This exciting episode will air during the Christmas Holidays on Tru TV.
On 11/15/2018, The Late Show's Gospel Choir sang a Tribute to Aretha Franklin Concert at 8 p.m. at the Patchogue Theater for the Performing Artsi n Patchogue, New York.

April 14, 2025I had the Late Show's Gospel Choir perform at the Tanner Fletcher Weddings Runway Show at Bridal Fashion Week. There are a lot of moving parts when it comes to a runway show and they adapted effortlessly. Lady Peachina is the founder of the choir and was a joy to communicate with. The choir director / choreographer was very professional and worked well under pressure. They hadn't been a part of a runway show before but they made it seem like a piece of cake. Not to mention the immense talent coming from each individual. They had our audience clapping and on their feet by the end of the performance. Powerful to say the least. I couldn't recommended more. I'll be sure to find another place in our creative direction to bring in this choir again.

The Late Show's Gospel Choir Releases New CD
The Late Show’s Gospel Choir, known as “The Best A Cappella Choir in the U.S.A.!” has been singing for the past 18 years and they’ve been seen by millions of viewers on TV worldwide. Ironically, this choir was first formed for the popular comedy show, CBS TV’s “Late Show With David Letterman,” in October, ’95, when Paul Shaffer, Musical Director of the show asked his then production assistant, Jill Leiderman, to contact Gospel singer, Lady Peachena, about forming a choir to film a video for the show. But upon hearing the choir’s incredible voices, Paul invited them to sing live on “THE LATE SHOW” the very next night.
Since then, The Late Show’s Gospel Choir has performed on “The Late Show,” more than a dozen times over the years as featured performers, and accompanying artists like Gloria Estefan, Enrique Iglesias, Darlene Love, Mavis Staples, Martin Shore & Steve Martin.
In ’98, The Late Show’s Gospel Choir made history when they were featured in Crest’s Toothpaste Pump national TV commercial singing the international hit, “Oh Happy Day!” So, it’s no surprise that The Late Show’s Gospel Choir strives to take Gospel music to higher heights! Their awesome harmonies and soulful renditions of old Negro Spirituals and hymns sung a cappella style are simply amazing! And, their interpretations of popular traditional and Urban Gospel songs will have you dancing in your seats!
The Late Show’s Gospel Choir has sung in powerful concerts all over America. In 2012, this spirited, innovative choir the choir was featured on MTV’S “MTV Unplugged” with hot rock band, 30 Seconds to Mars, singing U2’s former hit, “Where The Streets Have No Names.” This choir also went on two outstanding sold-out tours of Spain where enthusiastic crowds gave them double standing ovations. Fans didn’t want them to leave the stage! Incredible adoration from people who can’t even speak English, but loved Gospel music!
