With Larry Evans Music, expect familiar melodies, featured vocals, and instrumental performances with room for our musicians to shine. We can keep the music comfortable for conversation during a reception or dinner, then pick up the pace when it’s time for dancing and singalongs.
With The Mad Bavarians, expect a festive welcome and plenty of opportunities to join in. We mix polkas and German favorites with cheerful singalongs, traditional toasts, and playful audience participation. Guests are welcome to clap, sing, dance, or simply sit back and enjoy the music.
Whichever band you choose, we arrive on time, dress for the occasion, and coordinate with you or your event organizer. We pay attention to the audience throughout the performance, adjusting the volume and energy so the music feels right for your gathering.
About
I’m Larry Evans, a vocalist, trumpet player, and bandleader with decades of experience entertaining audiences throughout New England. I lead two bands, each with its own musical personality.
Larry Evans Music brings together jazz, swing, Dixieland, and timeless favorites. With expressive vocals and the sound of live horns, guitar or piano, and drums. We play familiar songs that invite listeners to tap their feet, sing along, or take a turn on the dance floor. We enjoy providing everything from a relaxed musical backdrop to a lively celebration for weddings, private parties, corporate events, and community gatherings.
The Mad Bavarians bring the spirit of Oktoberfest to breweries, festivals, private parties, and community celebrations. Lively polkas, traditional German favorites, singalongs, and audience participation make our performances a chance for everyone to join the fun.
Both bands reflect what I’ve always loved about performing: sharing good music, connecting with an audience, and seeing people enjoy themselves. Whether your occasion calls for swinging standards or a rousing “Ein Prosit,” we’d love to be part of it.
