Professional thru and thru. I arrive before time usually to make sure everything works, I dress to the gig, I am very easy to get along with and do whatever I can to make sure the client is happy. I write charts out for gigs and rehearse them till I get them solid. My goal is to show up and have no drop off for whomever I am subbing for. I play to the music and the band. I move on stage and smile alot. I love being a musician and am very happy that I get to still do this. No ego here, but I do expect folks to also be professional and prepared.

 Having been a professional bassist/vocalist for over 50 years now I have had the extreme pleasure and good fortune to have shared stages all over the world with many wonderful and talented entertainers, and a few not so entertaining.
 I have played styles covering rock from the 50’s thru the 80’s, R&B, funk, Jazz, swing, both country and western and reggae.
 I am currently working with the bands Groovelabs, The Grecian Brothers, The Darrell Goldman Band and The Motortown Allstars .
I currently tour regularly with many of the stars of the 60's including Jay and the Americans, LaLa Brooks (the Crystals), Jay Siegle and the Tokens, Chris Montez, The Cowsills, Terry Sylvester (the Hollies) just to name a few.
I have toured Japan twice with Legends in Concert out of Vegas as Conductor and bassist.
I have over 35 years experience playing in theater pits. I am a first call for Zach Theater in Austin TX and The Georgetown Place Theater in Georgetown TX as well as having played for many of the schools around central Texas.
I have been a guest artist with the Duke Ellington Orchestra under the direction of Mercer Ellington.
I have performed at the White House twice for President and Mrs GW Bush.
I have backed artists such as Andrew Rannells (Broadway Star), Drew Womack (Award winning Country artist), Coco Montoya (Blues award winner), Sandra Reeves Philips (Movie Round Midnight), Jay Sollenberger (Buddy Rich Band), Keith Fiala (Trumpet with Arturo Sandoval), Hal Ketchum (Country Artist), Doyle Bramhall Sr, Mary Bridgett Davies (Broadway Star as Janis Joplin), Chanel (Female singer for the Rolling Stones), Jerry LaCroix (Sax Edgar Winter Band/Boogie Kings), The Chiffons, The Drifters, The Cowsills, Dennis Tufano (The Buckinghams), Lou Christi, The Shirelles, The Marvelettes and Bob Miranda and the Happenings to name a few.
I have opened shows for The Neville Brothers, Huey Lewis and the News, Warren Zevon, Oak Ridge Boys, Mark Chesnutt, The Lovin Spoonfull, The Cyrkle, Herman's Hermits, The Fifth Dimension and Darlene Love to name a few.
I recorded with many artists over the years and am very comfortable in the studio.
I read notation, chord charts and Nashville charts.
I have pro gear, Sadowsky basses, NS Design electric Upright, Markbass amps and solid travel vehicle.
No drinking or drugs....just like good music.
My musical interests are R&B, Soul, Country, Jazz, Swing, Rock and Roll and Latin.

I play Sadowsky 4 & 5 string basses.
My rig is either one or two Mark bass 2x10 cabs with tweeters and a Genzler 800 watt head or Aguilar TH500. If the gig is upright I play a NS Design NXTa OMNI electric upright. I also sing and use Sennheiser mics. If I play guitar with you I use a Taylor acoustic, or Epiphone 335 Electric. I own a small PA consisting of 12 channel Zoom digital mixer, Mackie Cabs 12s and horns, Behringer 12's and horns and a small assortment of lights.
